In Todd v. Fayette County School District, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit addressed claims brought by a terminated teacher against Fayette County School District (“District”) administrators alleging unlawful discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) and the Rehabilitation Act, interference with her medical leave rights under Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”), and retaliation in violation of all three statutes. On appeal, the Eleventh Circuit affirmed the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the employer after considering whether it is wrongful to terminate an employee who engaged in threatening
